Superdork.net drove up to Dallas to attend the International Motorcycle Show. Casey is only 5'1" and doesn't fit on many sport bikes (which is what we are looking for), so the best way to try them all at once was to attend the show. We sat on everything we hoped to, plus some bikes we hadn't previously looked at. We're sitting on most of the bikes in the pictures, but you'll still get a good idea of what the bikes look like.
One of Casey's favourite bikes turned out to be the Ducati Monster 800 i.e. It was comfortable and a good height for her. Chris liked the R6, GSX-600R, and the CBR600F4i. He also liked the Cobra VTX enough that he's hanging the poster of that on his wall. Casey was very excited to see the Vulcan 800 Drifter, but it turned out to have a very uncomfortable seat. It also looked much smaller than expected. The good news is that Chris fits on all the bikes, and Casey found several sporty bikes she fits on. Since the sportbikes are so light, she can "toe" them. She didn't feel very secure on the CBR600F4i until Chris pointed out that she was looking around for her lost pen and paying no attention to the bike and didn't even lean over, let alone dump it.
