I thought it would be interesting to put up a repair log for my car. A little something to help me keep up with all of the maintenance and any problems I've had with the car.

Need Inspection (because of museum delivery) and oil change. Mobil 1 costs $6.08/quart at the dealer!
Rattles on dash below radio, driver side A pillar near dash and buzzing ash tray door. Rattles addressed.

Personalized license plate. State of the arts plate (Texas flag) reads - OVRKL.
Had to pay the difference between the new plate and the old one.

Check engine light came on. Problem couldn't be replicated. Tried to get the buzzing ash tray door addressed again, but they didn't get to it. Maybe next time.

Check engine light on again. Code P1441 (Evap flow during non-flow state). Found purge solenoid stuck open. Solenoid replaced, code cleared.
Low oil light. They didn't put enough oil in during the first oil change. More Mobil 1 added.
Dash trim rattling around radio. Trim insulated.
Trunk lid not laying flat. Stopper adjusted.

Passenger door wind noise - "Windnoise present only with listening device in rear part of right front door glass. Could not hear with naked ear. Adjust door very, very slightly." Cute guys.

Turn signal lenses cracked. Parts #'s 10301356 and 10301357 ordered.
Front brake calipers not coming clean - asked for cleaning recommendations. No problem found.
Driver's seat coming unstitched at side bolster, 3/4 of the way up. Sent to local upholsterer shop to get recommendation, repair or replace.
Power steering noise on low speed turning. No problem found.

State Inspection.
Squeak from steering at low speeds. "Can hear it in a parking lot test drive. Could not duplicate at this time."
Passenger seat squeaks when moved all the way back. "Normal condition, no problem found."
Rattle in right front speaker - dealer notes there was a bulletin to address this. Part #s 12378189 (tape adhesive), 10233183 (rod), 10233184 (rod), 10331688 (speaker screen), and 10331689 (speaker screen) ordered. They will apply solution to both doors.
Lighter outlet inoperable. Repaired with Part #'s 88909755 (fuse kit) and 10406518 (outlet). Outlet ordered. But they said they repaired the outlet with just a new fuse. I never saw the part ordered till I typed this in.
Wipers not working well. Replaced under warranty.

Parts arrived for speaker rattle. "R&R left front door trim to replace speaker screen and emblem, repair door trim panel retainers, replace left front door HVAC vent, repair window regulator cable, replace manual lock rod, repair door wiring harness and repair door control module." Part #'s used - 10406518 (this is the outlet from the last visit - perhaps they put it in the wrong section or just ordered it to replace it at my next visit -- not sure), 10331688 (speaker screen), 10291759 (emblem), 12378189 (tape adhesive), and 10233183 (rod).

Excessive tire wear on inside front tires (the tires were corded!!!). "Cannot rotate. No abnormal wear/damage found to suspension. Perform 2 wheel alignment only."

Service column lock message appeared on DIC several times. I bypassed it by jerking the wheel to one side. It freed to lock. Steering column lock assembly replaced. Interesting, they had this part in stock. Part # 26089807.
