Berroa ended the streak with an errorless performance on Sunday, but he leads American League shortstops with 18 on the season. Only Mets rookie Kazuo Matsui (20) has more."

I'm up to 7th place now, but last week I lost every single pitching category, so I needed to take some action. Esteban Loaiza had the worst ERA on my team, and only 7 more K than my relief pitcher, so I dumped him and picked up Jason Johnson from the Detroit Tigers. Now if Livan Hernandez can just get out of his slump, I'd be okay. Livan gave up 7 earned runs in 4.1 innings last night and 6 earned runs in 2 innings on July 7. He threw 2 complete games within 10 days in May and shutout Toronto on July 2; that's the guy I need to see right now!

Since I have a real job now, I don't have the time to dedicate to this that I did last season. I've even had several players go on the DL without noticing immediately. All things considered, I'm not doing too badly since I'm in 8th place. I'm 14 games out of first, but the 9th place team is 24 games out of first.
